In June 1999, the Board of Supervisors appropriated funds for a Dependency Drug Treatment Court. The Dependency Drug Court Team included representatives from Social Services Agency, the District Attorney’s Office, the Department of Alcohol and Drug Services, Dependency Legal Services, County Counsel, and the Court. The Drug Court focused on high-risk clients with special needs.
