OFF AGENDA REPORT REGARDING VIEWSHED AND GREENBELT
PROJECTS

At the December 17, 2002, meeting of the Board of Supervisors, the Board held to date
xmcertain consideration of recommendations relating to Planning Office Work Plan addendum
for Viewshed and Cireenbelt Project(Item No. 62).
Viewshed and/or Greenbelt evaluations are being conducted for these projects:
• San Jose Coyote Valley Specific Plan;
• Morgan Hill Urban Limit Study;
• Stanford Open Space and Field Research Zoning text amendment;
• Proposed 17-lot residential cluster project, known as “Citation Cluster Subdivision;
and

• Proposed Use Permit known as Milpitas Hills Cemetery/Mausoleum project.
Staff has presented a viewshed analysis technique proposed for use in the Open Space/Field
Research Zoning district to the Planning Commission and Board Aides. Staff will continue to
work with Supervisor Beall and other Board offices to address these issues. Further Board
action is not required at this time.
