GENERAL PLAN
HEARINGS MONDAY

The CoUnty Board of Supervisors will hold two public hearings

on the proposed County General Plan on Monday in the Board Chambers.
One session, at 1:30 p.m., will cover the "Land Use Element,"

while at 7 p.m., al-l- other portions of the plan will be considered
by the board.
The other segments of the plan include transportation, housing,
job growth, inter-governmental coordination of planning, parks
and trails, policies for uni-ncorporated lands within the urban
area, policies for conservation of the natural environment, public
safety, including fire protection, flood problems and earthquake
safety, pl.us environmental health.
Copies of the General Plan d.raft are available in the County
planning Departnent on the sixth floor of the county Government
Center, 70 W. Eedding St.
