Dear Mr. Norton;
Following is a list of the persons who will be attending the press briefing with ^
A^ne Wexle^on June 29, 1979. We will meet in the Board of Supervisor's Conference
Room, 10th Floor, 70 West Hedding Street, San Jose, California.
The subjects which will be discussed are:
1. Emphasis and update on the energy crisis.
2. The status of the national energy program.
3. How does national energy program relate to alternative solutions of energy
proposal (Solar, Mass Transit, etc.)
4. Decontrol/Relaxation of air pollution standards on construction and expansion
of refineries.
5. Lack of definitive action from Department of Energy relative to pending rules
regarding allocations and dealers' margin.
6.
SALT II Agreement.
These are the type of questions I intend to ask Ms. Wexler and I will brief her prior
to the beginning of the meeting in my office on any other issues of current interes
locally.
