To Whom It May Concern:

As a strong supporter Santa Clara County Youth Task Force(YTF),I am writing in support of
the application for funding for the YTF,The Board of Supervisors approved the YTF in June of
1997 to advise the Human Relations Commission and the Board of Supervisors on Youth Issues.
As a subcommittee of the Human Relations Committee, YTF has experienced much success and
has prove to have an invaluable positive impact on the youth of Santa Clara County.

Together with dedicated staff and volunteers, the Human Relations Commission (HRC)and YTF
worked to develop youth-driven community involvement in order to help build independence,
self-esteem and leadership skills among young people in Santa Clara County.

I believe a grant to YTF would help our youth leaders achieve their goals by continuing a forum
where youth can meet and discuss pertinent issues.
