week of 8/10 - VPC Policy recommendations briefing to BOS
re: firearms, alcohol & violence free relationships

8/15 - Submission of Action Plan components by VPC committees(Policy, Community
Assessment & Data, Community Based Initiatives, Public Awareness & Education)
8/27 - VPC MEETING


VPC review of Policy Committee recommendations

Discussion of Community Forum input

Throughout September
- Preparation of Action Plan - VPC staff
- Review of plan by other large stakeholders, including groups working in:
child abuse, domestic violence, elder abuse, youth violence, gang violence, etc.

9/22 - Submission of VPC Violence Prevention Action Plan to Board ofSupervisors
