RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF SANTA CLARA COUNTY
TO CONSUMMATE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES

WHEREAS,the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara gave notice of its intention to

purchase from Green Valley Corporation, for the sum of Nine Million Dollars ($9,000,000.00) all that
certain real property situated in the County of Santa Clara, located at 455 Silicon Valley Boulevard, San
Jose, California, more particularly described in Exhibit “A” attached hereto and made a part hereof by
reference, being APN 678-05-051.

WHEREAS,the Resolution of Notice to Purchase Real was published according to law in a

newspaper of general circulation in the County of Santa Clara.
WHEREAS,on May 9,2000, at the hour of9:30 AM in the Chambers ofthe Board of

Supervisors for the County of Santa Clara, at the County Government Center, East Wing,
70 West Hedding Street, San Jose, California, was fixed as the time and place for the Board of

Supervisors to meet to consummate the purchase, and it appearing to the Board that it is in the best
interest ofthe people ofthe County of Santa Clara that said purchase should be made at the price and

upon the terms set in the Resolution ofNotice ofIntentioaTo Purchase said real property.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the County of Santa Clara purchase said real

property located at 455 Silicon Valley Boulevard, San Jose, California from Green Valley Corporation
for the sum of Nine Million Dollars ($9,000,000.00).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairperson ofthe Board of Supervisors ofthe

County of Santa Clara is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement to Purchase Real
Property and the Certificate of Acceptance to be attached to the Grant Deed for and on behalf of the
Coxmty of Santa Clara.
