special circumstances. If Task Force action is requested, the matter can be placed
on the next agenda. All statements that require a response will be referred to staff
for reply in writing.

Housing Task Force

Welcome:

Jim Beall: Call to Action, big picture, how we got here, opportunity to
act. County wishes to move from reacting to proactively strategizing.

Overview:

Chris Block: Housing Trust review, emphasizing the public/private
partnership.

Jane Decker: County Exec’s engaged and eager to participate; many
County Dept, are already heavily engaged in Housing Work; Housing
Coordinator position created and operating at full speed.
Ray Villarreal: Describe action already taken, gives brief review of
recent Supportive Housing Report; Introduces working groups giving a
brief description of each.

Discussion:

Paul Wysocki: Moderate discussion, Q & A

Small Groups:

Paul Wysocki: Asks group to break into working groups. Each group is
to review its description, revise/add to it, develop action items, and
schedule group meetings.
